Tile Calculator Formula
- Calculate room area: Length x Width (m2)
- Calculate tile area: Tile length x Tile width (m2)
- Divide room area by tile area = number of tiles (exact)
- Add waste factor: 10% for simple layouts, 15% for diagonal, 20% for complex patterns
Example
Room: 4.5 m x 3.2 m = 14.4 m2
Tile: 60 cm x 60 cm = 0.36 m2
