What Score Do I Need on the Final?
If you know your current grade and the final exam weighting, solve for the required score:
Required = (Target grade - Current grade x (1 - Final weight)) / Final weight
Example: Need 80%, currently at 75% before final (40% weight):
(80 - 75 x 0.6) / 0.4 = (80 - 45) / 0.4 = 35 / 0.4 = 87.5% needed on final
